Support Hurricane Helene Recovery
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, NCICU thanks all state and federal agencies, corporate partners, and community organizations for rallying to support our seven campuses in western North Carolina during this challenging time.
As we assess the storm’s impact, it is clear that our institutions have faced significant challenges. With approximately 400,000 power outages across the state and numerous road closures, our campuses—including Brevard, Gardner-Webb, Lees-McRae, Lenoir-Rhyne, Mars Hill, Montreat, and Warren Wilson—are dealing with various degrees of damage and disruption. Some campuses lack power and safe access, heavily impacting our students and staff.
The spirit of resilience and collaboration during this crisis reminds us of our collective commitment to each other. We will continue to work together to assess the needs of our campuses and ensure our students receive the support they require to navigate this challenging situation.
Again, thank everyone who has stepped up to help our students, staff, and campuses. We will emerge from this more robust than before.
NCICU will support our campuses through the Independent College Fund of North Carolina. To join us in supporting Hurricane Helene recovery for our affected campuses, you can make a credit card donation using the form below.
