MyFutureNC is a statewide commission focusing on educational attainment, which brought together North Carolina’s thought leaders in education, business, philanthropy, faith-based, and nonprofit communities to create a multi‐year plan and a broad‐based agenda for a stronger, more competitive North Carolina. MyFutureNC has adopted a goal to have two million North Carolinians with a higher education degree or high quality credential by the year 2030 to meet the growing needs of our state’s workforce.

The NCICU Board of Directors was the first statewide board to adopt a resolution in support of the myFutureNC goal in March 2019.
