NCICU Internship Luncheon

NCICU hosts a luncheon for students from our campuses who had internships with the legislature and other state government agencies. The purpose of the luncheon is to honor of NCICU students serving in Executive, Judicial, and Legislative Branch summer internships through the State of North Carolina Internship Program.

The NCICU Internship Luncheon has been reviewed by the staff of the State Ethics Commission regarding compliance with the State Government Ethics Act. Based upon the specific facts presented, the Commission’s staff has determined that food and beverages for immediate consumption may be provided to attending legislators, public servants, and legislative employees pursuant to the gift ban exception of G.S. 138A-32(e)(1)c.
