Criteria:
This scholarship from the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) is to be given to one full-time undergraduate student whose background reflects one or more of the characteristics of the following student populations: first-generation, low-income, minority, or new American students. The scholarship, named the CIC/UPS Scholarship, is for educational purposes only and may not be used to replace any institutional grant aid or other scholarship support already committed to the student selected to receive the scholarship. The scholarship may not be reduced, nor may any portion be retained to offset administrative costs.
