Meredith College opened more than a century ago with just over 200 women students. Today, our student body has grown to approximately 1,600 students, including women and men who are part of our graduate and post-baccalaureate certificate programs. All learn to enhance their strengths, broaden their perspectives, and prepare for lives of impact and distinction. All going strong.

Strong Academics
All of Meredith’s programs – undergraduate and graduate – challenge students to think deeply, push hard, and discover new strengths. Our average class size is just 14. Meredith faculty are experts in their fields, providing information for top media outlets including The Guardian, U.S. News & World Report, National Public Radio, and ABC News.

Strong Rankings
Meredith is one of America’s best colleges. U.S. News, Niche, and The Princeton Review all consistently include us on their lists of top college picks. And we’re the only women’s college in the world accredited by AACSB International.

Strong Experiences
In recent years, Meredith students studied in 36 countries – from Australia to Tanzania. Approximately 25% of Meredith students study abroad, compared to a 9% national average, and we award over $200,000 in study abroad scholarships each year. And 92% of students tackle internships, undergraduate research, or another form of experiential learning. That’s easy because we’re located near downtown Raleigh and the Research Triangle.

Strong Results
Our 24,000 grads are out in the world leading the way. They’re breaking records and barriers. And they’re getting things done. While their careers take them all over the world, they got their start at Meredith. Maybe that’s why 96% of our graduates say they’d recommend Meredith to others. Strong results, indeed.
