Each year, the NCICU Counselors Tour visits one-third of NCICU’s 36 campuses where participants learn about the unique programs and opportunities offered to students by North Carolina’s private, non-profit, independent colleges and universities. Counselors can earn certification renewal credit by applying for prior approval through their local personnel administrator. The tour is open to school counselors from public or private high schools across North Carolina and the US. Cost is $125 per person which includes bus transportation throughout the week, overnight accommodations, and meals and snacks as well as a special activity during the week-long visits to campuses. Transportation to and from the Tour and/or accommodations before and after the Tour are not covered by the registration fee.
