Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina

Criteria:
– Resides in North Carolina,
– Demonstrates financial need according to federal guidelines, and
– First Generation, Low Income, or Minority Student
– Minimum GPA of 2.5
– Junior or Senior Status

Bridgestone Firestone Trust Fund Scholarship

Criteria:
– Financial need must be established
– Resident of Edgecombe, Greene, Johnston, Nash, Pitt, Wayne, or Wilson Counties
– Minimum 3.00 GPA
– Prefer a recipient from an underrepresented population or a disadvantaged student

Broyhill Family Foundation Scholarship

Criteria:
– Full-time student pursuing a STEM Education major
– Award to be given to a senior
– Student must have residency in Burke, Catawba or Caldwell County

Burlington Industries Foundation Scholarship

Criteria:
– Priority given to an incoming Freshman student
– If there are no eligible incoming freshmen for the upcoming academic year, the college may elect to re-award the annual scholarship to the current recipient for another year- Selection is merit based without any minimum requirements for SAT scores, GPAs, class standing, etc.

CIC/UPS Scholarship

Criteria:
This $3,200 scholarship from the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) is to be given to one full-time undergraduate student whose background reflects one or more of the characteristics of the following student populations: first-generation, low-income, minority, or new American students. The scholarship, named the CIC/UPS Scholarship, is for educational purposes only and may not be used to replace any institutional grant aid or other scholarship support already committed to the student selected to receive the scholarship. The scholarship may not be reduced, nor may any portion be retained to offset administrative costs.

Clancy & Theys Construction Co. Scholarship

Dominion NC Power Scholarship

Criteria:
– Student must be a full-time undergraduate student.
– Student must be majoring in Business, Engineering Technology, Liberal Arts, Construction Management, or Environmental Sciences
– Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
– Student must be a resident of one of the following counties: Alamance, Alexander, Beaufort, Bertie, Buncombe, Cabarrus, Camden, Caswell, Chatham, Chowan, Cleveland, Currituck, Dare, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Gaston, Gates, Granville, Halifax, Haywood, Henderson, Hertford, Iredell, Jackson, Lee, Madison, Martin, McDowell, Nash, Northampton, Orange, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Person, Pitt, Polk, Rowan, Rutherford, Swain, , Transylvania, Tyrell, Vance, Wake, Warren and Washington, and the cities of Roanoke Rapids and Weldon.

ICFNC Advisory Board Corporate Scholarship

Criteria:
– Demonstrate financial need
– Be a full-time undergraduate student
– Be a North Carolina resident
– Prefer a recipient from an underrepresented population or a disadvantaged student

Jeff and Jan Stoddard Scholarship for Hope

Criteria:
– Demonstrate financial need
– Be a full-time undergraduate student
– Be a North Carolina resident

Thomas & Ashley Varnadore Scholarship of Optimism in Future Generations

Criteria:
– Student must be a full-time undergraduate student
– A freshman or sophomore
– Demonstrate financial need
– Preference to be given to a First-Generation student

Truist Foundation Scholarship

Criteria:
– Student must be a full-time undergraduate student
– Minimum GPA of 2.5
– Must be a First-generation student or representative of a under-represented population
– Demonstrate financial need

Wells Fargo Scholarship

Criteria:
– Reside in North Carolina, and
– Demonstrate financial need according to federal guidelines

Workforce Development Opportunity Scholarship

Criteria:
– Resides in North Carolina
– Demonstrates financial need according to federal guidelines
– Junior or Senior Status
– Reside in Mecklenburg, Gaston, or Union county
