NCICU Counselors Tour

Each year, one-third of NCICU’s 36 campuses are visited, and tour participants learn about the unique programs and opportunities offered by North Carolina’s private, non-profit, independent colleges and universities.  The week-long tour takes place in the summer, and counselors visit NCICU campuses selected by region (Central, Eastern, Western), which rotate annually. Counselors can earn certification renewal credit by applying for prior approval through their local personnel administrator. The tour is open to school counselors from public or private high schools. The cost is $125 per person, including transportation, accommodations, meals, and snacks during week-long campus visits. The registration fee does not cover transportation to and from the tour and accommodations before and after.

Registration is online and all counselors are invited to share with their private and public high school counselor colleagues.  A waiting list will be generated once all current spaces are filled.

North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP™) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.
